This book hosts documentation images of various materializations of one thing: gold. I took these photographs at random over the past four years with no specific intention of ever publishing them. While going through my digital images one Sunday afternoon I was surprised by the amount of gold things I had photographed. Of course, I was always aware of their goldness when I decided to whip out my iPhone (mostly) and capture them into digital memory, but this reflection reminded me of a question I have often asked myself and been asked by others; what is it about gold that draws me or anyone to it?
