Marie Angeletti's project with Pebeo, a French paint producer, consists of a collaboration with the works from their two main factories, one in Gemenos, France and the other in Kunshan, China. This publication mixes Angeletti's photographs, and photographs responding to artworks made by workers at both Pebeo sites: paintings by employees made before the project (on their own terms); the results of their collaboration with the artist and also personal photographs that they selected and gave especially for the project. The two omissioned texts included in the book exists as seperate propositions for considering the work.
