PEDESTRIAN PATHWAY PRESERVATION PILOT PROJECT PROPOSAL (PPPPP)

This is a formal notification of a 21-mile long, 400-foot high community connections inspection of all pedestrian pathways, portals, undercrossings, and overcrossings along and across the I-10 Freeway between Downtown Los Angeles and Santa Monica. The purpose of this inspection is to plan for a pilot project to reconnect communities separated by the freeway. Please plan accordingly as there will be many automobile on- and off-ramps crossing the inspection route. Lights, bike, and Caltrans ANSI-compliant high-visibility PPE all highly recommended.
