A free broadsheet featuring contemporary writing and art, FULL BLEDE is independently published, designed, edited, and curated by Sacha Halona Baumann. Each issue features collaborators responding to a theme and launches in conjunction with an exhibition reception at a Los Angeles gallery. 

October 2019 Issue 10: The Undertaking

Each issue invites artists and writers to respond to a theme. For the 10th issue the broadsheet's contributors tackle tasks we create for ourselves, goals, responsibility, and markers of success. For some process may be the focus, as one takes on the task or oath, while for others it may be the results that drives the work. The term also describes the role of a funeral director, a position that may conjure feelings of solemnity and morbidity. In all cases, The Undertaking describes a form of labor and an expectation of accountability.
