
located at the sepulveda basin portion of the los angeles river is one of two segments where the river has a natural, earth-bottomed channel, fostering a riparian habitat that provides food, cover, and shelter for a variety of birds, including millions of birds traveling between breeding grounds. this session offered attendees the space and time to contemplate fauna, flora, aqua, geology and e political, historical and social issues that are intertwined with em. presenters will emphasize poetic gestures and storytelling present scientific, historical, and environmental information bout the basin and its earthlings.
