This work operates in the same manner as sheet music or musical notes. Each note connects allowing it to conclude to create a rhythm. Although I number each page, I am not trying to create a consistency in its presentation: long pauses––or maybe interludes is a better word. The thought of an interlude allows for space and a quick breath before transitioning to something. I did not want to bind the papers as a booklet, I just wanted the pages to stand alone unbound and unbothered although it read as a book, which is what I had in mind while concluding this work. I’d rather the pages be viewed individually. At times I would lay each sheet down across tables in the studio and each time a new rhythm was formed.
