Focusing primarily on the queer history of Mexico, Glory Holes explores the necessity of ephemeral forms in which queer history is archived: through gossip, re-appropriation, sociolinguistics, myths, feelings, and fiction.
The text starts on the inside cover; the rest of the body text is not attached to the latter; the images are one-on-one reproductions of the original references and are included as loose inserts. The fragility of the placement of these components behaves in a similar way to queer history: they bear the risk of disappearance, of leaving the publication incomplete.
