A screening of "Going Bananas" by Gloria Galvez—an animated film on the problematic history and contemporary condition of bananas sold to Western countries—accompanied by a meal of snack-sized banana foods and a discussion of the film. Viewers will be invited to contribute to Galvez's online archiving art and activism project.
