Legible-Visible looks at how the arrival of home video technologies in the 1970s and digital media at the turn of the millennium both resulted in many innovations in video artworks and artists' publications. Dávila proposes a historical framework to examine works ignored by the market, while Muñoz shows how artists have taken advantage of the similarities and overlap between publications and audiovisual elements.
