Fixing Papers is a new collection at LACA that explores how people create, enforce, and contest immigration systems. This is a call to share your artist books or ephemera related to these bureaucratic systems. These materials can help us better visualize the shrouded decision-making process and fixed categories that immigration systems impose.
Fixing Papers hopes to disorganize and unsettle the categories our lives are made to navigate.
← We are featuring a selection of Fixing Papers at this years Printed Matter Reading Room, May 15-18.
← Come by LACA Fridays 12-6pm or schedule and appointment in bio.
← This collection is organized by Andrew Freire.
