While LACA stays at home [during the Covid-19 pandemic], we are developing a new collection, Live/Work: Artist Studio and Housing Collection. This project invites artists to share ephemera directly related to artist studio and housing issues. Our goal is to contextualize art-making within what is typically seen as an inconsequential site of production.
If you would like to participate in this collection, please share your materials. We are currently gathering: studio leases, mortgages, residencies, contracts, sublet negotiations, or verbal agreements for the rental, home, and studio agreements.
